Itinerary:
Stroll through downtown Vancouver and discover Gastown, an interesting little district with boutiques and art galleries. Stroll along Water Street. You’ll pass the steam clock, an iconic tourist attraction in the region. Discover Canada Place, a symbolic venue for world-class events.
Take the SkyTrain to Waterfront Station and board the SeaBus to North Vancouver. Explore Lynn Canyon Park, a magnificent natural park with hiking trails, a suspension bridge and waterfalls. Return to Vancouver by public transport. Stroll along the Seawall promenade, which runs alongside the ocean and offers magnificent views of Vancouver Bay.
Spend the day exploring Granville Island. Take the Aquabus ferry from downtown Vancouver to Granville Island. Visit Granville Island’s public market: boutique, café, small market and local artisans. In the afternoon, take time to relax in one of Vancouver’s parks, such as Stanley Park or Queen Elizabeth Park (the city’s 2nd largest park). Many options for renting electric bikes or scooters on site.
Explore the historic Chinatown district. Visit the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden, one of the finest classical Chinese gardens outside China. Discover the lively streets of Chinatown with its herbal stores, Asian grocery stores and delicious restaurants. End the day with a stroll along English Bay beach and admire the magnificent sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
