Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.
Itinerary:
Arrival in Sorrento and check-in at your hotel.

Discover the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Take a day trip along the coast by car or bus. Stop in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello to explore these picturesque villages. Discover their winding lanes and magnificent beaches.
Visit Pompeii. Take an excursion to the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, which was preserved by volcanic ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Explore the fascinating ruins, houses, temples and theaters to immerse yourself in Roman history.
Enjoy a relaxing day in Sorrento. Discover the local beaches, relax in the sun and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. You can also stroll the shopping streets of Corso Italia and sample the local specialties.
