THE CLIMB! : REACH THE SUMMIT OF MOUNT WASHINGTON
Are you interested in the idea of escaping and achieving a major accomplishment? Now is the time to be part of the next incredible adventure of climbing Mount Washington. Accompanied by Jimmy Sévigny and his team of coaches, you will experience thrilling sensations! On top of meeting wonderful people while having fun, you will push yourself beyond your limits!
What is Mount Washington?
This legendary mountain stands at 6,288 feet. Located in New Hampshire, it has been sought after by hikers and thrill-seekers for many years. No matter the season you tackle it, this mountain leaves no one indifferent.
What are the physical prerequisites to climb this mountain?
To fully enjoy the ascent, you must have a minimum level of physical fitness. Despite the groomed trails, Mount Washington remains the highest mountain in the southeastern United States. To achieve this feat, you will receive three training programs that will help you prepare both muscularly and cardiovascularly.
How does the ascent take place?
Accompanied by a team of certified mountain guides and coaches, you will have up to 8 hours to climb and descend the mountain. Anyone who has not reached the summit within 4 hours of ascent must turn back to prepare for the descent.
Are there any mandatory documents?
You must have a valid passport. Additionally, upon registration, you will need to provide proof of travel insurance.

Entry requirements for the United States:
It is your responsibility to obtain all the necessary documents according to your nationality (visa, entry fees, authorization form for a minor, etc.) before your departure.
As of October 1, 2022, a citizen who holds a non-Canadian passport must absolutely fill out an ESTA form online at least 72 hours before departure. https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta
This form is mandatory to enter the United States and you will be automatically denied access to the United States if it is not duly completed and approved.
You must present your passport and required documents to your tour guide when boarding the bus, otherwise you will be denied access. No refund or recourse against Voyages Gendron will be possible.

Start of the ascent. If the weather permits, we will use the Tuckerman Ravine Trail for the ascent and the Lion Head Trail for the descent.

* Travel insurance is MANDATORY for this trip. Jimmy Sévigny requires that all participants have insurance and provide proof to Voyages Gendron. If a participant does not have insurance, Voyages Gendron will offer to sell them medical insurance to ensure they are protected during the ascent of Mount Washington. Note that the insurer covers the participant during the hike and the participant must absolutely stay on the marked trail. If they stray from the trail and get injured, the insurer will not cover the participant.
Each participant will receive a "Risk Acknowledgement" form before departure, which must be signed for this hike. This form must be signed and handed to Jimmy Sévigny's team upon boarding.
Voyages Gendron and Jimmy Sévigny Inc. cannot be held responsible for the cold, heat, winds, or poor weather during the trips they organize. Damages may include, but are not limited to, loss of time, loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, frustration, additional expenses, loss of wages, and quarantine. Under no circumstances will Voyages Gendron and Jimmy Sévigny Inc. issue refunds for force majeure situations or events beyond their control.
Voyages Gendron and Jimmy Sévigny Inc. offer their clients traveling alone the possibility to pair up with another client also traveling alone in the same group. Consult the pairing policies.
