An abundance of nature and culture

It’s not surprising that Portugal is one of the most visited countries in Europe. There are as many heritage sites, inherited from a sumptuous civilization, as there are stunning landscapes here, especially along its 1,200 km of shores bordering the Atlantic coast. The scenery is breathtaking. With its steep cliffs on the edge of a big blue ocean, dreamy beaches and mountains contrasting against a blue sapphire backdrop.

In beautiful Lisbon, visit majestic gothic churches, monasteries (the Hieronymites Monastery is incredible!) and towering castles such as St. George’s. Take the time to stroll through its narrow streets and indulge in a delicious Pastel de Nata from one of the many pastry shops.

Then, head south to the Algarve region to explore the small fishing villages with their beautiful white houses and flowers. You’ll also see gorgeous (and enormous!) traditional villas, which look absolutely striking in their ocean surroundings.

And, of course, when it comes to Portugal, food is an essential part of any visit. With its fine wines, fish delicacies and grilled dishes exploding with flavour, satisfying your tastebuds is always easy! //
