PHILADELPHIA

By Jonathan Gloutnay, Director of coach bus travel

While in New Jersey, you can also visit Philadelphia. Philly is a city replete with history, culture and great food. Did you know that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were both signed here? In fact, Philadelphia was the very first U.S. capital, and was home to Benjamin Franklin for almost two decades. If you’re a history and culture buff, you can’t miss seeing the iconic Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the President’s House, the Rodin Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Masonic Temple. You’ll also want to check out the Reading Terminal Market where the Amish come to sell their wares. And, if you’re interested in discovering more about the Amish community, try the guided tour in Lancaster. This farming community’s lifestyle will take you back to an era before technology, running water and electricity. Also, we will take you to see the mega-production Samson presenting a large-scale show which will amaze you, just like the million people having seen it in 2015.
