The tour starts with a visit of Nijo castle, once the familial palace of Shogun Tokugawa. Then, you’ll visit Kinkakuji temple, a sacred site. After that we head to Kyoto’s Imperial Palace, former residence of the imperial family. After lunch we’ll visit Heian Jingu sanctuary, a beautiful structure higly influenced by Chinese architecture. Then we go to Sanjusangendo temple and its 1001 images of Buddah. The tour ends with a visit of Kiyomizu temple, famous for its wooden verandahs.
