OPTION #1 | Eastern part
Departure from your hotel to the beautiful scenic road of the eastern part of the Islands. We will drive through the small village of Pointe-aux-Loups, then stop at the small church of Grosse-Ile to see its special stained glass windows. We will stop at the interpretation center of the Salt Mine, a very instructive visit on the geology of the Islands and the history of salt in the Islands.
The visit continues towards Grande-Entrée, the lobster capital of the Islands. Stop at the Auberge de la Salicorne and visit its seal interpretation center. Includes: The cost of admission to the Salt Mine and Seal Interpretation Center.
OPTION #2 | West and Central part
Departure from your hotel towards Havreaux-Maisons, a beautiful green island with breathtaking views. We will make stops at: Barbocheux (tasting), Cap Alright, Falaises de la Dune du Sud and a tour of the Petite Baie.Then visit the Central Island, Fatima and its famous shell-shaped church, the cliffs of Belle Anse, the Côte de l’Étang du Nord with its stores and its magnificent panorama.We will continue our journey to the island of Havre-Aubert.
We will make the tour of the panoramic road of the Basin with a stop at the lighthouse of Anse à la Cabane then we will take time to visit the historical site of La Grave, a place not to be missed in the Islands. Stop at the Micro Brasserie l’Abri de la tempête on the way back to the hotel. Includes: tasting at Barbocheux.
