Discover the idyllic island of Mauritius. Start with Eureka, a colonial house where you can enjoy a cup of vanilla tea. The head to the Grande Bassin sacred lake and admire its Hindu temples. After lunch in a gorgeous setting, stroll through sugar cane and pineapple plantations to Chamarel, where you can learn the art of distilling rum and take in its waterfalls and multi-coloured landscape.

The 7 waterfalls

Set off on an adventure to the heart of Mauritius and admire the 7 most beautiful waterfalls on the Tamarin River. Using the trees, roots and rocks, climb up and around this fun trail, which has plenty of obstacles but is easy enough for all. Stroll through a dense, wild tropical undergrowth where you'll spot a wealth of native plants. Explore the seven waterfalls of the Tamarin Gorge one by one and enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the magnificent natural pools.
