It’s no wonder that water tourism is number one in Saint Martin when there is so much water to enjoy. Saint Martin has something for everyone. Whether you are here for swimming, sunbathing, sports or just relaxing, there is room for everyone to find their own little piece of paradise. The waters off the beaches of Saint Martin are clear and warm and perfect for exploring the local marine life with a snorkel and mask. Water sports are by no means the only activities available on the island, but they are by far the most numerous. The weather, water and air temperatures (on average between 77° and 84°) and reliable trade winds provide ideal conditions for all types of water sports all year round.

Saint Martin has moved towards another type of tourism, that of well-being, sport and culture. Spearheading numerous promotional campaigns, the “natural riches” of Saint Martin have become the mainstay of its tourist guides. Walks and horse rides, bike rides and quad biking trails are yet another way to discover this paradise island and return home with lasting memories of landscapes, historical sites, traditional buildings, history and encounters with the inhabitants.
