We Will Be Back !!
This was my eight visit to Club Med. Have visited all of them in the Caribbean and the two in Mexico !! We were a family of ten and this was THE best !!! There are SO many superlatives. The list is long !! 🌴 The Club is five minutes from the sleepy airport. Many people walk. 🌴 The reception area opens out onto a beautiful pool deck with the ocean beyond. There is NO fence around the pool, as there are at several other Club Meds. You can swim 24 hours a day, with a lifeguard on duty from 9-5 🌴 The property is beautiful, with lovely flowering bushes and landscaping. Guests are housed in brightly coloured two-story casitas, most of which seem to have a view of the ocean. 🌴 There are ten clay tennis courts, with well-attended clinics every morning. 🌴 The property is on a stunning crescent beach , with white sand and turquoise water. 🌴 The food is excellent and imaginative, with a great, nightly Grill out on the verandah. The wines are great and the second restaurant is delightful. 🌴 MOST importantly, every single GO, chambermaid, gardener , server in the dining room, people at Reception and Gift Shop were, to a person, just delightful: friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Nicolas, the new Chef du Village was present everywhere and very friendly. If I could make a suggestion, I would suggest that the rule against smoking and vaping be better inforced. The French are still big smokers and need to respect the rules. All in all, it was a perfect week and Columbus Isle is at the top of my list.

The most amazing beach & best staff!
Spent my second week at Club Med Columbus Isle this winter, and wow—this place is stunning. The beach is absolutely unreal, with the softest white sand and the clearest turquoise water I’ve ever seen. The staff really made the trip even better. Ari at the bar was super friendly & smiling and always made a great drink. Behruz, the sailing instructor, was awesome—so patient and encouraging. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, which made it even more fun. But the absolute highlight of the trip was Julia, the sommelier. She has the most amazing energy—so warm, charismatic, and full of sunshine. She didn’t just recommend wines; she made the whole experience feel special and personal. Every time she stopped by, she lit up the room, and you could tell she really loves connecting with people. Between the gorgeous beach and the incredible staff, this trip was unforgettable. Already dreaming about going back!

This was my second trip there and I had a wonderful week. The weather was great. The beach/scenery is beautiful. All the staff was awesome: from Anna (the nicest GO!) who was really kind and welcoming, to the amazing massage therapist Anya, to the dynamic and fun tennis coaches. Thank you all for the great work you do! Great memories and I will certainly be back in the future

Just Came back from an epic Club Med Holiday at Columbus Island I was a GO in two club meds and been to another 3 on holiday and this was the best This is the place if you want peace and tranquility Huge shout out to the bar team, the Italian gentleman and the Bahamian legends! They were always available to make suggestions and recommendations! The GO team on a whole from the Lifeguard from Saguenay to the reception staffs were all extremely kind and helpful even though I didn’t do too many activities besides beach sitting!! The food was also incredible, tons of variety and availability!! To be constructive, the CONS are around the rooms. ClubMed , it’s the tropics, please invest in a high end air con system. We spend all day in the sun so a good sleep is so important and even with the air con the rooms are so warm. I never once slept under the sheets! At least invest in some ceiling fans . Additionally, it’s not the military, would it be too much to ask to move away from the single cots and perhaps add a bath tub? All in all 9.5 out of 10 can’t wait to return!

Club Med delivers relaxing vacation!
Enjoyed a week here. Our first time in Bahamas. We've been to the Club Med in the Turks twice. This one is similar in some ways, different in others. The majority of GM's are French-speaking. Nice beach and beautiful clear water. Ocean was rough on several days. Kudos to sailing staff, they worked hard to keep the Hobie cats right side up! Upgraded room was very nice with ocean view. We fell asleep each night listening to the waves. Flight from Miami was easy. Baggage weight limit is 50 pounds, not 40 as stated by Club Med in communications before our trip. We rode E-bikes to the lighthouse and did another excursion to a lagoon for a boat tour and snorkel on a pretty nice reef. Some biting bugs near the beach around sunrise and sunset.
