Ancient Kingdom of Ek'Balam

Discover Ek’Balam, one of the less-crowded Maya ruins in the area. Marvel at the artistic detail and symbolism incorporated in the façade of the Acropolis, where a royal burial chamber was found. Climb up to the top of this majestic building and enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view. End your visit with a relaxing swim in a cenote (freshwater sinkhole).

Stand Up Paddleboarding

This activity is done in the sea, close to the shore. The paddle boarder stands on a large surfboard and paddles, the difficulty being to keep your balance (originally it was done lying on the board and using your arms like a surfer).

Waterpolo

This activity is temporarily suspended. Dive in and elbow your way into position to angle the ball into the floating net. With splashes and shouts of encouragement and joy, the water comes to life with your jumps, passes and shots on goal. The pool becomes a playing field for fun, energetic games.

Basketball
