Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

below average and expectations of club med ski hotels
Positives first: - I think overall the resort was very nice, especially the architecture and decoration. - Staff was very kind and helpful, especially in the restaurant. - room was spacious, with a nice view. bed was very comfortable. - fireplaces in the lobby were stable pieces, all the ski hotels must have! :) - ice creams were amazing like in all of their resorts. negatives: - food was below average. All i've eat all week was pasta and pizza, their pizzeria was amazing. And sometimes fish, swordfish was good. Even the slow cooked meats were very chewy and not incorporated with the ingredients. Steaks were always bad, very chewy and not marinated enough. - salad bar was way below average. The location of dressings and toppings were oppsite, one were in the starting point others on the ending point. i think they should all be in the end of the salad bar where people can finish the line with their salad choices. - ski start location was always crowded and un organised. the esf teachers were not able to organise the ski times properly as it always turned out to have everyone at the same time. - esf teacher was not very instructive until the last day after he received his tip. this is not club med's fault but i think they should inform them. - in the past when i was a kid, ski teachers and GO's were merging with the guests in the dining hall. It's a shame this doesn't happen anymore. I noticed ski teachers all gather at the same table same for GOs. It was nice to eat with them. - on our departure date we were kicked out of the hotel very early. We had to wait in the airport for 5 hours and there was no road issue. The departure breakfast was very basic, i guess because they don't have same amount of people in the hotel. Still i would have expected better. The wholemeal croissant was finished already at 8 am. Infact most food were always finishing early every day anyway. I had this incident multiple times. - one day some cocktails were charged extra. it didn't make sense to be honest. Like there was one spritz cocktail for 10 euros whilst it costs the same to make an aperol spritz. i only bought that to use my credit. I won't next time. - 4 pm snacks were mostly candies and sweets. there was only triangle sandwiches and didn't look good. it would have been better to add some more savoury snacks to that time when people come back tired. - we wanted to use the sauna and steam room but the bath ropes were not given unless you've got spa treatment. I understand you don't want to put them in all rooms, but at least give to the rooms when they call and request them. I had to walk downstairs with a room towel and a tshirt on top of my swimsuit. the lockers were not locking either. - welcoming snacks in the ski location were very poor. we also did a long day with the teacher and missed oysters and champagne welcoming lunch snacks. the resort should have informed the esf teachers on these days. we also missed the bbq day as well because we did 2 long days and this was the second one coincidently. or maybe the resort organised this on purpose to serve to less people? it is possible because on that day many groups were having long days....

The perfect base from which to explore Les Arcs
My whole experience was exceptional from the ambience and quality of service in the hotel, the food, the comfort of my room and interaction with the staff. I do not even consider anywhere else for my annual skiing trip.

Our Club Med Peisey - Villandry holiday.
We had a delightful holiday and highly recommend the club for a skiing getaway. The domain is world-class, and the ski-in/ski-out access was excellent. The GO team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with en suite bathrooms (bath with a shower combination, which may not be ideal for older guests).

I just finished my ski trip to this club and it was absolutely amazing, If you put aside the huge skiing site and all the fun from it, I wanted to thank the club staff that was beyond friendly, and always included me in everything even though I was not part of the staff, I had so much fun being with them although I met them for the first time there, and I felt very sad leaving the place. I wanted to shoutout to Guyto, I think he was the boutique manager, that introduced me to everyone and generally was the best, keep it up brother and let everyone enjoy your aura. from reception to miniclub, or from bar team to managers, thank you for the best club experience I could think of, and I hope that more people could experience it in the same way I did. Allez Paisley, allez!!

Below expectations overall
In this review I am trying to give a genuine account of the experience rather than be critical. The rooms at the hotel are pretty much as expected for ski hotel . Pillows not good but everything else great and clean. The food was very good with lots of choices and high quality. Be careful in busy times at cooking stations as I was served cold undercooked fish on two occasions. But all in all excellent all inclusive with fabulous snacks. The bar is poorly run with many students who don’t understand service and often waited for long periods to get served. Massive training issue. The hotel boasts many facilities but pool was cold and outdoor pool was closed during much of our stay with no reason given as weather was fabulous. Games room closed at 7pm which is ridiculous and no reason given. I suspect that there have been cut backs on staff to save money which is why this club med experience was not like others. Mid day snacks were excellent and plentiful . There is no proper entertainment just the youngsters who work in the hotel dancing about to background music so take cards and games. Ski room and hire facilities all excellent but you pay double that you would pay elsewhere although very convenient . The poorest part was ski lessons. Day one absolute chaos and waste of time. People getting lost from groups and far to many in a group. My partner was detached from a level 1 class and had to find her own way back which scared her . To be clear throughout the week there is little or no teaching it is just guiding. It seems they want you to book private lessons at 185-210 euros for two and a half hours and this is only way you will get teaching so if you are learner budget that in. Sadly it’s all very money grabbing my partner booked massage at 100 euros and bill showed 110 and when questioned were told it goes up after 5?? This is how it’s become.. I had a good time in a beautiful area but was disappointed with ski lessons more than anything else.
