Group ski lessons for adults

Otaru canal cruise tour

A car will take GM from resort then first stop at Nikka Whisky, one of Japan's top whisky makers, with its main distillery in Yoichi. Nikka whiskies have been recognized to rank among the world's best single malt whiskies and have won numerous awards.The Yoichi Distillery maintains many of its original stone buildings which visitors are welcome to view. A self-guided walking tour of the grounds takes about an hour and follows the whisky making process from start to finish. To be followed by Otaru Canal Cruise tour, which is a must-do activity for visitors to Otaru. Otaru, once a thriving gateway to Hokkaido, boasts a rich historical heritage from that era. During this leisurely 40-minute cruise down the Otaru Canal, our captains will each share their unique perspectives on this history. Afterwards, the driver will also wait for G.M. to have walk in Otaru for some shopping/walking, then take G.M. back to resort.
Tenguyama ropeway tour

To be followed by Tenguyama's ropeway, it offers panoramic views of Otaru, Tenguyama is a symbolic mountain standing above sea level in Otaru. From its summit, you can behold the city, the Sea of Japan, and a stunning night scene, often referred to as one of "Hokkaido's three major night views. The summit observation deck is listed as one star in "Michelin Green Guide” Japan. Afterwards, the driver will also wait for G.M. to have a walk in Otaru for some shopping/walking, then take G.M. back to resort.

SB 3: Able to ride blue / red runs with confidence. SB 4: Able to ride black runs with confidence.

Best snow conditions & snowboard instructors
It has the best snow conditions even when there’s a snowstorm.. Our snowboard instructor, Nico M., has been really engaging and gave ingenious tips to correct individual’s mistake in a group lesson setting. It has been a wonderful experience with lots of GOs recognising me when it was only my 3rd trip here.

Our snow holiday was fantastic, thanks to the friendly, helpful and patient staff. Special thanks to Diana and our SB3 instructors Ivan and Ryan. The Japan snow and powder is so good, too. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked our next snowboard trip for 2026.

Great experience at Club Med Kiroro Peak. Special mention to: - Ivan, our snowboard instructor, with his special brand of no-nonsense critiques provided us with invaluable techniques to improve our riding. It is clear Ivan has pride in his work as an instructor and wanted betterment for each and every person in his class. - Diana at reception provided thorough orientation of the facilities. She is hard working and adorable. She made sure to mention little things to make our stay enjoyable, eg: green light on the heater means OFF, unlimited mini bar refills! We love Club Med Kiroro Peak for its refined and elegant atmosphere. We went to Club Med Kiroro Grand a few nights for dinner and although the lively atmosphere was very lively, we were always thankful and relieved we choose the Peak.
