Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

The Team Rider teen programme allows skiers of class 3 and above to switch between different ways of skiing, gliding and learning different techniques. Equipped with the latest equipment, teenagers are also introduced to and learn awareness of mountain safety.

Good facility let down by food and service
After a 10 year hiatus from club med ski holidays of which we had very happy memories, we had high hopes for this holiday. Positives: Great proximity and ease of access to ski slopes. Onsite sauna, pool and hot tub. Heated ski lockers. Negatives: we are far from gourmands but all agreed that the food was generally not good ( with exception of pasta and pastry chef offerings which were excellent)). Queues for buffet made mealtimes feel like a battleground. The “free” wine was THE worst ever tasted. Terrible restaurant service made it very difficult to order alternative from the wine menu. Only on the third night did we manage to pin down a waiter to facilitate purchase. Thereafter it was problematic to retrieve our unfinished bottles in the restaurant at dinner on the following two nights. On our last night we went to the sit down restaurant and while it was nice not to have to face the nightly buffet battle, the food wasn’t really any better,and the service - harassed wait staff, slow service-was far below the standard expected. Nice enough public areas with seating around what would have been lovely cosy fireplaces save for the fact that the fires remained unlit for the entire duration of our 7 day stay. Not even on Christmas Day! It was miserable. .While we very much enjoyed the experience of another family ski holiday and appreciated the ease of ski in ski out and the facilities generally, the dining experience at this CM was a total let down.

Very well located Club at the bottom of the slopes. The facilities are good the staff is helpful. There are plenty of entertainment and options for families and kids in particular. Food is amazing, a special shout out for Elisa, in the pastry team !

Avoid This Place – Overcrowded and Stressful I’m currently here on a ski holiday and leaving tomorrow, and I have to say, this has been a disappointing experience overall. The resort is overcrowded, with long queues for absolutely everything—lifts, rentals, even restaurants. It’s been incredibly stressful and not at all the relaxing trip I had hoped for. The only highlight has been the ski instructors, who are truly amazing and deserve recognition for their professionalism and skill. Unfortunately, their efforts aren’t enough to compensate for the chaos of the resort itself. I would not return here and cannot recommend it to others. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your ski trip.

Great resort and hotel but childcare really lets it down
This is our third club Med holiday and the first time staying at Grand Masif. Hotel is lovely and the manager is really hands on and great, but the child care for ages 4-5 is a complete disaster compared to the other club Med Resorts and really needs addressing. You have to sign the 4-5 year olds into club at 9am and they are sat in a room with zero simulation or toys until they are taken onto the nursery slope at 10am for an hours ski lesson. They are brought inside at 11am and we were told that we were banned from collecting them until 12.05? We could see our son sat on the floor on his own in a room for an hour and we were banned from signing him out for an hour?! The whole system is just ridiculous and really upsets the children.The staff in there are miserable and rude and have an obvious dislike for small children - I saw them shouting at the little ones numerous times. As a British family who like to nurture our kids this is simply not ok - it really ruined the holiday for us as my 4 year old son hated it but my older child had a great experience as usual. Club Med really really need to sort this out as all the families I spoke to felt the same way. Why can’t the little ones just be dropped for their lesson at 9.45 and collected at 11.15?? It just a case of simple logistics and organisation and employing staff who actually want to care for small children.

My Terrible Experience at Club Med Grand Massif
An incredibly disappointing experience my family and I had at Club Med Grand Massif. As loyal Club Med customers and Gold Members we’ve come to expect a certain level of service. Unfortunately, the clubmed failed us Transportation Fiasco We had to walk a mile in the rain with two toddlers to get to the bus (wvwn if we booked a private transport) When I questioned the team member, they smugly explained that it was “private” because Club Med owned it, In-Stay Communication During our stay the lack of communication with the Gold team (Thomas and Bruno) was frustrating, especially since their role is to provide support for loyal members. Departure Day Chaos On the eve of our departure, the reception assured me my private transport was scheduled but they didn’t have the time The next morning, my wife went to reception to confirm the time, and this is where things got out of control. The reception and transportation managers insisted that we had no transportation booked and told us to arrange a taxi at our own expense. This was shocking, as I had been told the opposite the previous day. Last-Minute Resolution Finally, the Chef de Village intervened and arranged a private transport for us—but framed it as a “gift,” saying we hadn’t booked it. I tried to explain that I wasn’t looking for a favor; I simply wanted them to do their job. Unfortunately, my concerns were brushed aside, and we were left feeling like an inconvenience. Reflection on Club Med Grand Massif This was by far the most disorganized and frustrating experience we’ve ever had with Club Med. It’s deeply disappointing, especially after having had wonderful experiences at other locations. As we near Platinum level (over $100,000 spent), it’s sad to think we’ll never use those benefits because we won’t return to a Club Med resort. This experience has made it clear that we deserve better service for the loyalty and investment we’ve shown to your brand. I hope this feedback encourages improvements for future guests.
