Steamboat
SKI TOWN U.S.A.®
Steamboat is home to some of the greatest skiing and riding in the U.S., is renowned as being the HOME OF CHAMPAGNE POWDER® and happens to be where some of the greatest Olympians train (thanks to its 165-run, natural snow training area). Steamboat is also a genuine ski town at the heart of the Colorado Rockies. This destination features 18 lifts, 165 trails and 2,965 acres of poser terrain! All this (and more) awaits you in Steamboat!
Located an easy three-hour drive from Denver, Steamboat is actually a complete mountain range: Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Pioneer Ridge, and Christie Peak. 2,965 acres (1200 hectares) of permitted terrain offers a diversity of trails for all levels of ability. The gladed areas of Pioneer Ridge, Sunshine and Storm Peak are Steamboat’s claim to fame, with legendary Champagne Powder® snow for the most avid powder hounds. Let’s me tell you… I am ready to go back any day!
