AUSTRIA—A BOUNDLESS SKI AREA
Kitzbühel: access to 25 ski areas with a single pass!
Always committed to offering more, Kitzbühel increased the number of ski areas accessible with its Kitzbüheler Alpen AllStarCard from 10 to 25 in 2017. Its 15th-century mining town, the superb comfort of its eight-person heated ski lifts and the quality of its cuisine make Kitzbühel an incredibly popular ski destination.
Kitzbühel is home to the most notorious run of the FIS World Cup—the Streif. The resort’s countless summits, 2-km 3S gondola and off-piste pastures help ensure you will delight in an unparalleled ski vacation.
Despite the addition of 15 new ski areas, my favourite spot is always the Saalbach Valley area and the summits on each side of the Brixental Valley.
During my first visits to the area, Kitzbühel is probably the place that impressed me the most. No doubt it has something to do with the authentic feel of the village, the sheer size of the ski area and access to skiing in its pastures. Today, with the addition of 25 incredible ski areas, there is plenty for you to discover in this Austrian skiing hub.
