Niseko
Snow guaranteed!
With the haphazard weather we’ve had in the Western U.S. over the last few years, countless powder-hungry skiers have made the journey to Japan in order to satisfy their appetite for abundant snow. We’ve heard it in movies, reports and through first-hand accounts—skiing in Japan is an undeniably extraordinary experience.
Naturally, all this talk has made Japan an increasingly popular destination. The positive side to this new-found fame is that Japan has revived its services to meet international standards. In spite of Japan’s growing popularity, the snow remains abundant here in the Land of the Rising Sun. Over the last few years, Gendronski clients have delighted in an average of one metre of snow during their stays in Niseko. The most surprising thing is that this snowfall measurement is taken by an independent organization that only calculates accumulation at the base of the mountain!
Thanks to an on-site guide, skiers can regularly relish in 25 to 40 cm of fresh snow every day! In addition to the abundant snow (which is no doubt the main reason you’ll be going to Japan), don’t forget that Gendronski’s package includes almost 2 days in Tokyo, where you’ll have time to settle in and discover this exceptional and extremely safe city. Again this year, I look forward to some memorable powder runs. Hope you get to enjoy some too!
