ON-SITE REPRESENTATIVE
Our on-site representatives,Michel Marien and Josiane Simon |
Welcome to Whistler!
We will be your on‐site destination representatives in Whistler this season. Michel Marien has been an avid skier since 1978 in the Hull and Laurentides regions. In 1980, he moved to Chilliwack, B.C., and continued to ski at Manning Park, Hemlock, Big White, SilverStar, Apex, but primarily at Mount Baker in Washington State. Then, in 1993, he settled in Richmond, B.C., and skied at Whistler Blackcomb until 2006, becoming a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) ski team, skiing 60 to 70 days a season for 8 hours a day! In 2010, during the Olympic Games, he was part of the RCMP ski team responsible for ensuring the safety of the athletes during the Olympics and skied 75 days in a row, in addition to further honing his skills with the Dave Murray ski camps (Extremely Canadian). In 2017, he became a volunteer member of the Whistler Ski Patrol and now skis as a resort host, helping to reveal the resort’s best-kept secrets based on skier levels and resort conditions. Josiane Simon is passionate about alpine skiing, which is her favorite sport. In her early twenties, she taught for four seasons at Mont Orford and obtained her Level 2 certification with the AMSC. Since then, her winter vacations have often been spent discovering ski resorts in Western Canada and the U.S., as well as in France, Italy, and more recently, Japan. A young retiree from Magog, she has been spending 2 to 3 months each winter in Whistler since the 2020-2021 season, and feels right at home in this mountain! It is with great pleasure that they will help you discover the beauty of Whistler/Blackcomb. Contact them by email as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. Michel will be on site for the entire season, and Josiane will be available between January 4 and 16, 2025, and again from February 2, 2025, until the end of the season. See you soon! LIFT TICKETS
WHISTLER DAY PASS or EPIC PASSYou will need to, via an email received from Vail Resorts/Whistler Blackcomb, access your profile, add a photo, sign a waiver, select the insurance to protect your use in Whistler electronically. If you do not receive your laminated cards before your departure, go to the ticket office/customer service with your confirmation (voucher) and a photo ID. They will be printed and delivered on site free of charge. Or for the 2024-25 season, the EPIC application on your mobile device is also usable. If you registered via the app, you will not receive a physical pass. The pass will be accessible through the app. Once on-site, you will have the option to have your laminated card printed, if you wish. The number of days of usable skiing is identified in your EPIC profile, you can use them simply by going directly to the ski lifts with the plastic card received at home and proceed with boarding the ski lifts. Once scanned, a day will be consumed on your profile. Tips to save time and time once on site: Some cards are demagnetized during transport, so we suggest you to validate their validity at one of the ticket offices the day before your first day of skiing, to ensure that you ski without delay. If you have any questions about your tickets, here’s where to contact Vail Resorts: (970) 754-0005 (Unilingual Anglophone Customer Service), through their real-time chat or direct you to Whistler/Blackcomb Box Office or Customer Services if you are already there. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you purchased restricted Whistler Day Pass ski tickets, you will not be able to ski on November 29 and 30, 2024, December 26 to 31, 2024, January 18, 2025 and February 15 and 16, 2025. If you have purchased Whistler Day Pass ski tickets with no restrictions, you can ski on any day of the season. Please see details of Epic’s coverage and cancellation policy (available in English only) here https://www.epicpass.com/info/epic-coverage.aspxWHISTLER LIFT TICKETSFor reservations made for the LIFT TICKET product. Your ski days are reserved and guaranteed. It will therefore be impossible to change dates on site. No need to create a profile or sign a release, just go to the ticket office with your voucher to get your tickets. The ticket offices are open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM every day. |
LESSONS
Please refer to the voucher found in your electronic documents.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Please refer to the voucher found in your electronic documents. We strongly suggest that you pick up your rental items the day before your first day of skiing (before the shop closes), to avoid queuing up on your first day of skiing.
If you rent your equipment for the same duration as your ski tickets, but you want to take a day off and not ski on consecutive days, you must have the agreement of the shop to keep the equipment without bringing it back to the shop for your break days. If you do not notify them and keep your equipment with you on the ski day off, you will be charged for the extra days, it will not be possible for Gendronski to support you in claiming a refund.
EPIC SEASON TICKET HOLDER
If you are an EPIC season ticket holder, you'll have direct access to the gondolas and lifts, no visits to the ticket office are necessary. Download the My Epic app here: https://www.epicpass.com/app.aspx |
