By Monyse Bélisle, Ski Product and Marketing Director

When you vacation in Steamboat, you’ll get much more than you bargained for; with a real town, and a mountain averaging 883 cm of Champagne Powder® snow that covers the six peaks towering over it. The snow adventures that await you will be legendary—groomed cruisers, bumps, steeps, terrain parks, open meadows and the best tree skiing and riding on the planet. The town offers 100+ restaurants and bars, three craft breweries, three full-service supermarkets, hot springs, night skiing and for those who just never get enough, cross-country skiing can also add to your alpine skiing week, and access is available almost right from downtown.
Most Steamboat hotels and condominiums offer guests private shuttle service throughout Steamboat Springs, and many offer on-demand transportation service as well. The city also has a comprehensive system of FREE transportation between the ski area and downtown as well as lodging, dining, shopping and entertainment locations.

A big bonus is also that children 12 and under ski and rent free when parents/grandparents purchase lift tickets and/or rent equipment for 5 days or more. The resort also offers a Kid’s Vacation Center, and is one of the premier kids’ facilities in the U.S. aimed not only at teaching skiing and snowboarding, but teaching kids in particular. The programs are truly designed around taking care of children aged 6 months to 6 years in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. The resort also offers a kids-only ski & snowboard zone with its own surface lift and lots of fun terrain features.

Accommodations at Steamboat include a wide range of hotels and condominiums, ranging from 5-star luxury residences to humble lodges, along with plenty of ski-in/ ski-out options. I just can’t wait to go back!”
