Contest ”Win a ski trip for two to Whistler!”

REGISTRATION

To register, participants must complete the contest form at https://www.voyagesgendron.com/en/ski/contest/win-a-ski-trip-for-two-to-whistler/, read the procedures, enter their information and follow all steps until confirmation. By submitting an entry, participants irrevocably accept that their information will be transferred to Voyages Gendron. Entries are limited to one per person. Additional registrations will be disqualified. An individual may not use more than one e-mail address to register for the contest.

PRIZE

The winner will receive a trip for two (2) people (the winner and one (1) guest) to Whistler with a total value of $5,000 CDN. The trip will be from March 22 to 29, 2025.

The winner will receive a trip for two (2) to Whistler, with a total value of $5,000 CDN.

• seven (7) nights’ accommodation at the Blackcomb Springs Suites (ski-in/ski-out) in a studio with kitchenette in double occupancy;
• two (2) round-trip economy-class airline tickets from Montreal to Vancouver with Air Canada;
• five (5) days of skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb;
• airport transfers;
• services of our on-site representative, including two orientation tours;
• fee for the 1st piece of baggage checked with the airline;
• taxes.

The trip price does not include, among others :

• meals ;
• travel, health and/or cancellation insurance;
• ski equipment rental;
• airport parking.

The winner must comply with the following conditions of use:

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

• No purchase required.
• The contest runs from October 9, 2024 to January 16, 2025 (11:59 p.m. EST). The draw will take place on January 17, 2024, at 9 a.m. Eastern time, at Voyages Gendron offices located at 1465 boul. Mgr-Langlois, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.
• Photos and images used in advertising or promotional material (including, but not limited to, print advertising, electronic advertising and web banner ads) are provided for informational purposes only.
• Employees (and/or those residing at the same address as such an employee, representative or agent, whether related or not) of Voyages Gendron are not eligible.
• The contest is open to Québec and Ontario residents aged 18 and over.
• Voyages Gendron reserves the right to modify or terminate the contest at any time, without prior notice.
• By participating in the contest, each participant authorizes Voyages Gendron to use, for advertising and promotional purposes, his or her name, city of residence, address and telephone number, without any form of compensation and for an indefinite period of time, in the event that he or she wins a prize, if required.
• Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of the Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of the prizes may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
• Winners waive any recourse if the services offered are not entirely satisfactory.

CONDITIONS OF USE

The winner and his/her guest accept and agree to comply with the following conditions of use:

• Reservations cannot be combined with any other promotion.
• All reservations and travel arrangements must be made with Voyages Gendron by the winner, without exception.
• Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary, on the same dates, on the same flight, from the same originating airport to the same destination.
• All costs and expenses other than those mentioned above will be borne by the winner and his/her guest, including, without limitation, transportation between the place of residence and the airport, activities at destination not included, meals and beverages not included, travel expenses, telephone calls, mobile telephone and data roaming charges, expenses of a personal nature and gratuities.
• The room category cannot be changed under any circumstances.
• The winner and his/her guest must have reached the age of majority in their province of residence to take advantage of the trip.
• The prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot, under any circumstances, be transferred in whole or in part to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged for cash. If a portion of the prize is not used, in whole or in part, no monetary compensation will be awarded.
• Under no circumstances may the travel prize be used after its expiry date of March 22, 2025.
• This offer cannot be extended. In the event of cancellation for any reason, the trip cannot be postponed.
• Any extension of stay will depend on the flexibility policies in effect at the time of travel and may be at the winner’s expense in whole or in part.
• In the event the winner refuses the travel prize, the latter cannot be converted into cash and will be considered cancelled.
• The travel prize is specific to the trip mentioned and cannot be exchanged for a trip to another destination or on another date.
• Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, personal, medical and travel insurance prior to departure, including, without limitation, medical coverage at destination.
• Except as provided in these rules and regulations, Voyages Gendron makes no warranty, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the travel prize. In accordance with the conditions set forth and without limiting their scope, Voyages Gendron is not responsible in the event that the use of the travel prize is impossible due to an event of force majeure, including, without limitation, a pandemic.
• Voyages Gendron is not responsible for any event that could prevent or delay the trip and/or have an effect on accommodation reservations or any activities booked by the winner and his/her guest at destination.

PRIZE CLAIM

The winner will be selected at random from among all persons who have registered for the contest on our Web site. The draw will be made electronically, by extracting the list of e-mails that have been registered for the contest.

The winner must respond to the e-mail within 7 days of it being sent. If the winner does not respond within this period, he or she automatically forfeits the prize, in which case it will be awarded to another person. 

The winner will be put in contact with Voyages Gendron to reserve his or her trip. Winner and guest must consent to receive communications from Voyages Gendron for booking and travel purposes. The winner will be selected by random draw using an automated system. The winner’s name will be posted on the contest page. The winner will also be contacted by e-mail and asked to submit proof of Canadian residency.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By accepting a prize, each winner and each guest of the winner, if applicable, releases the Beneficiaries from any and all liability, obligation, claim, action, damage, demand, cause of action, suit, debt, duty, account, bond, agreement, guarantee, indemnity, fine, legal fees, contract or responsibility of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the acceptance and/or use of the prize, including, without limitation, any injury, illness, death or damage to or loss of property. Each winner and each guest of the winner, if any, acknowledges that upon award of the prize, the obligations associated with the prize become the responsibility of the suppliers of the services and products comprising the prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
