Chugach Powder Guides
With more than 750,000 acres of skiable terrain, almost 20 years of experience, and a strong safety record, Chugach Powder Guides tailor each day to your needs and desires.
Chugach Powder Guides first priority is to deliver a safe and compelling ski adventure to each of their guests that they’ll remember fondly for the rest of your life.
They begin planning your helicopter ski trip for you well ahead of time, ensuring that each guest and each group are well-matched and compliment everyone’s skills, energy, and expectations.
Full day heliskiing with Chugach Powder Guides includes:
16,000–18,000 vertical feet of heliskiing (16,000 vertical guaranteed)
Our heli-skiing days usually begin at 9am with a pick-up from the Hotel Alyeska.
Each guest’s adventure begins with a safety briefing in the comfort of the Hotel Alyeska followed by practical equipment training outside.
Safety supply equipment is provided by Chugach Powder Guides, including: airbag backpacks, beacons, harnesses, shovels, and probes. Guests may use their own equipment if preferred and approved by CPG’s guide staff.
Chugach Powder Guides bring lunch, bottled water, snacks and extra safety gear and equipment. Lunch typically includes a selection of gourmet sandwiches (customized to any dietary needs), hot soup, dessert, and hot drinks. Guests typically arrive back at the hotel between 4-7pm depending on the weather and where CPG flies in a particular day.
