Chugach Powder Guides
CPG has offered spectacular cat skiing in Girdwood for almost 15 years. Over that time, the accessible terrain available to CPG has more than doubled. Today, during a typical cat skiing day we average 10,000 vertical feet of skiing over 8 runs. CPG cat guides draw upon a variety of terrain options to deliver a great day of skiing, including gladed trees, steeps, open powder fields, rock features, pillows, and more. Expect 8-12 guests and two guides per snowcat group. Snowcat guests will receive safety equipment including avalanche beacons, airbag backpacks and harnesses. Our cat skiing trips depart from directly outside the Alyeska Resort, offering great convenience for our guests.

2-day cat-skiing weekend (Sat. + Sun. of same weekend):
Each day of your 2-day commitment is treated as a full day of cat-skiing along with lunch, safety training and safety equipment.
