Excellent skiing
Excellent ski week due the amazing conditions. It would have been a disappointing week otherwise as the hotel and services were not to the standard that we normally experience with Club Med.

feeling of disappointment
Skiing was very good, but in the end, receiving the incorrect invoice and the hotel staff’s refusal to correct it, as well as the transfer not matching the amount paid, ruined the overall impression.

Great hotel!
A lovely hotel, in a good location, great food and service! Special thanks to Tina in the restaurant, who served excellent Italian food!! The room was large and the bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and two sinks, and an excellent view of the mountains. Hotel is a 10-minute walk to the gondola, with access to an extensive ski area. Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the back of the hotel, as a number of people complained that the rooms at the front were very noisy at nighttime.

Written by: Chika A - - March 23, 2025Club Med missed this time
We have visited the Club Meds at Alpe Duez, Peisey, Les Arcs Extreme, Aime La Plagne, Serre Chevalier, Cervinia, Chamomix, Val Thorens and Pragelato twice. St Moritz was the most expensive one that we have visited, and unfortunately it didn’t really live up to the luxury price tag (Peisey Vallandry was a lot less expensive and had a much better atmosphere / vibe). So where did St Moritz go wrong? Too Hot - everywhere apart from your room where you could open the window. Dining Room too small - it’s good by most standards but after other Club Med’s this one was a poor comparison. Lack of Information - our table for nine people was given away at 7.30pm one evening (we were never given this information) Mountain Restaurant - too small - food cold, no wine offered, given a strict 30mins to eat and give the table back. Staff coming and asking you to leave when you still had food on your plate. More like school dinners than a Club Med long lunch. Ski shop manager was very rude. Noticed the skis had not been serviced properly - had a gouge out of them - when taking them back after only half a days skiing we were charged 32 euros. It is a shame as all the other staff were brilliant, the rooms sizes great, the cleanliness superb. Why no music and dancing outside when returning from Skiing, no letter to explain check out, no ceran wrap and note on our last breakfast to say ‘you are Welcome to make a snack for your journey - something Peisey did when we only had 1.5hrs journey. Here we had a 3 hour coach transfer. On the flight we got a bottle of water and chocolates. For the 3hr coach journey nothing was offered. This might sound a little picky but after visiting all the other Club Meds we pay more because we love these nice touches that we have become used to. Every other Club Med managed to get a lot more people up dancing and interacting - here it just didn’t seem to work in the same way - maybe due to how hot it was inside ? Overall we still had a great holiday, just not up to the usually amazing Club Med Ski standard we have been spoilt with before.

The best ski holiday ever?! 🤔
Well, where to start. I suppose it’s more about the people you meet along the way than the place. The hotel didn’t disappoint but the staff were an absolute joy to be around and felt more like friends. They were all incredible but just to pick out a few, obviously I have to start with Julie The Gym and yoga instructor. She’s a Parisian! 🥰 Was one of the loveliest people I have met and her classes were fantastic. We will miss her a lot! Christine was about as nice a person as people come, she even organised a waiters rendition of the Italian national anthem for us as well as other stuff. Bit heartbroken she had to go back to Naples early and I didn’t get to say goodbye. 👋 hey Christine 😁 You didn’t say goodbye! She left the job of looking after us to Vincenzo, yet another super cool Italian with a permanent smile. Both on team resteraunt. Alexandra was our ski guide. Another ridiculously good looking Italian. What a nice guy and what a great ski group we had. I should say he really was a lovely lovely guy. All the guides were stupidly good looking in fairness. I really liked the Portuguese lady on reception. I don’t know what her name was. There was a nice Greek girl holed up in the back office I liked. She was nice. Yet another gorgeous lady learning how to use the coffee machine behind the bar and guarding the beer and premium wine up the mountain. I liked her. Don’t know her name. She was really nice! And last but not least and one of my favorite people ever, apart from Christine and Julia etc 😁 is the beautiful Constance. She’s French so obviously pretty great. I’ve no idea what she does but she is definately a ten. I really liked her 😊 So there you go. All of these lovely people took the time out of their busy days to sit and hang out with us. And as I may have already mentioned they are all drop dead gorgeous 😍 This holiday was the most incredible value for money. Unbelievably so Infact. Take my word for it. Which is why people seem to return year after year. This was my first club med. I’ve done a ton of mark warners and this was better. I can’t remember having a better time which is all thanks to the above. I’ll definately be back. Skiing, gym, sauna, outstanding cocktails and and food and dancing all night with the 20 different nations that had assembled here from all over the world for a week of fun. To be honest I’m pretty easily pleased but what’s not to like. And while you’re here… make sure to follow me on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc @markrepps 😁👋x
