Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.
For more information about this permit, you can visit the official website at the following address: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en.
Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.
Itinerary:
A private bus will take you to The Lake hotel, located in the town of Killarney on Ireland’s southern coast. You stay for 3 nights while enjoying the nearby golf courses and activities.
Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of the Dingle Peninsula along the Wild Atlantic Way, the Dingle Golf Link course, rich in history, offers a perfect combination of playability and difficulty depending on the tee. Originally designed by Eddie Hackett, this course features naturally undulating fairways, fescue greens which are among the best in the country, and a meandering stream on 13 of the 18 holes. You will be immersed in an unparalleled golfing experience, in the heart of a coast with wild beauty.
Elected “Ireland’s Most Scenic Golf Course in 2020”, the Dooks Golf Club offers a majestic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Reeks mountain range, which is home to the country’s highest mountain. This course, recognized as one of the oldest Links Courses in Ireland, offers a visual spectacle on several holes along the Dingle Bay and presents a good technical challenge for all golfers. It will probably be difficult to keep your eyes on your ball but equally important not to lose sight of it.
Morning
You will have the chance to admire grandiose landscapes during a guided coach tour of Cap Dunloe, Nestled between the MacGillycuddy Reeks and Purple Mountain, the Gap of Dunloe (about 20 minutes from the hotel) was formed over 25,000 years ago during Ireland’s last glacial period. Moreover, the Gap of Dunloe is part of the iconic Ring of Kerry, one of the best scenic routes in the world.
Afternoon
After the visit to Cap Dunlop, departure by coach to The River Lee Hotel Cork where you will stay for the next 3 nights.
Course that hosted the Irish open Venue three times and the PGA Championship
Described as one of the most beautiful courses in the world, the Old Head Golf Links is built on a jewel of 220 acres of land that extends over three kilometers into the Atlantic Ocean. The headland is almost an island with numerous caves spreading out beneath your feet as you play the course. This is a one-of-a-kind golf course, with nine holes along the cliff tops and all eighteen holes offering breathtaking ocean views. With ever-changing sea breezes, the course poses a good challenge but also provides teeing options for all types of golfers and a unique experience for everyone.
Designed by the genius of Augusta, Alister MacKenzie, and recently enhanced for the modern golfer, the Cork Golf Club (approximately 20 minutes from the hotel) is carved into historic limestone quarries and beautifully stretches along the shores of the city’s inner harbor. A special place since 1888. The renovated course is now a worthy challenge for players of all levels. It is now renowned for its spectacularly contoured bunkers and numerous breathtaking landscapes.
