Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.
Itinerary:
Welcome at Rome Fiumicino airport and private transfer to the 4-star hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free for your own visits in the “eternal city,” which is full of ancient history, from the Colosseum to the port of Ostia Antica, passing by the majestic Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel. Enjoy a gelato or a dish of fresh pasta!

After breakfast, private transfer in a luxury coach to go play at Marco Simone GC, the Ryder Cup course.
The Marco Simone Golf Club, located near Rome, is a gem of Italian golf. This 18-hole course, designed by golf architect Jim Fazio, is distinguished by its picturesque landscape and technical challenges. The winding fairways offer breathtaking views of the medieval castle of Marco Simone, adding a historical touch to each swing. In 2023, the club had the honor of hosting the prestigious Ryder Cup, an event that brought together the world’s best golfers and highlighted the excellence of Italian golf.

After breakfast, you will have free time to make your final purchases. In the middle of the morning, there will be a private transfer to Perugia, a historical and artistic jewel and a beacon of the central city. The journey will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. En route, a short stop is scheduled halfway to stretch your legs and have a coffee. Expected arrival in Perugia around noon, with check-in at 2 PM at the Giò Wine e Jazz Area hotel so that you have time to buy your meal on your own.

After breakfast, departure and transfer by private luxury coach to Florence (4-hour drive). Check-in at the 4-star city center hotel: B&B Hotel Pitti Palace at Ponte Vecchio. After check-in, the day is free for your own sightseeing and leisure activities. Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance and the world’s capital of art in the 15th century. It boasts one of the oldest historic centers and some of the most famous museums in the world, as well as one of the most iconic and distinctive landscapes as far as the eye can see.

After breakfast, the morning is free before taking your private transfer to play at Monticello GC in the afternoon. Return to the hotel early in the evening after golf. The rest of the day is free.
Monticello is simply fascinating; this 6,410 m course is consistently at the top of the Italian rankings. It has hosted seven editions of the Italian Open, with prestigious winners such as Billy Casper, Sandy Lyle, and Greg Norman. Despite its higher level of difficulty on the red course, playing at Monticello remains both a pleasurable and exciting experience. Holes 9 and 18 are particularly impressive, ending in front of the clubhouse, facing a huge lake, making the approach shots to the green both more challenging and captivating.
