PGA VILLAGE

By Sylvi Gagnon, Special Contributor

The ideal destination for golf fanatics, this magnificent resort includes three quality courses, each uniquely different in its own right. My favourite is the Dye Course, a true gem designed by Pete Dye. Highly technical, this particular course is extremely challenging and demands absolute precision off the tee. The Wanamaker and Ryder courses, for their part, are somewhat more conventional but still offer a good challenge. Playing conditions are always impeccable and the greens are fast.

The resort also has a huge practice facility, located just steps away from the courses. If you like to spend lots of time working on enhancing your game, this is the perfect place to do it.

Thanks to recent developments in the area, there is now also a much wider range of dining options to choose from.

Overall, PGA Village offers a nice, relaxing getaway completely focused on all things golf.ass. Boating, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, canoeing and kayaking are also available for the outdoor enthusiast.
