Accessibility and variety

By Jérôme Blais from Académie Entraînement Performance Golf and Golf Pro affiliated with Club de golf Venise

Myrtle Beach is like my second home. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been there over the last 17 years. I know the place like the back of my hand, and every single visit is an absolute joy.

Getting to Myrtle Beach is a breeze! By bus or car, the trip takes about 18 to 20 hours—quick and easy access to a golfing paradise with a seemingly endless choice of amazing courses. When it comes to restaurants, Myrtle Beach offers incredible variety. If you’re a steakhouse fan, you absolutely have to try Chuck’s, which happens to be one of my personal favourites. Accommodation-wise, there is also a lot to choose from here. Condos, whether on the beach or on the course, seem to be the most popular choice. For those who love the nightlife, there is plenty to explore by hitting Broadway at the Beach. Did you know that Myrtle Beach is one of the top beach destinations in the U.S.? All I can say is, nothing beats the smell of the salty ocean air, and a trip to this little corner of South Carolina is always a sure bet!

Legends Golf & Resort, the No. 1 choice

Legends Golf & Resort has to be one of my favourite destinations. You’d be hard-pressed to find better value for the money. This amazing resort features five affiliated courses, not to mention breakfast, lunch and drinks included at each of their clubhouses. Accommodations come in the form of fully equipped condos, located in the heart of the resort and providing easy access to everything you need. For those who enjoy warming up a little before playing a round, Legends boasts an enormous driving range and practice green. And, if all that wasn’t already enough, the resort also happens to be located right in the center of Myrtle Beach, close to all the action. It’s an unbeatable and highly affordable package you are sure to enjoy!
