Mediterranean Sea: Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia

The most beautiful sea in the world offers many incredible destinations.

Spain
Many cruises start and stop in Barcelona and we can get behind that: the city is beautiful! Another high point: Barcelona is easily accessible on foot from the pier.

La Rambla is an avenue starting at the pier – just follow the statue of Christopher Colombus! – and walk up until you see the Catalona Square. You can also take a side street and discover the charming Gothic district or stop at La Boqueria, a market full of fresh fruits, spices and seafood. Many tours can take you to the famous Guell gardens, the Sagrada Familia, Montjuic and the many museums of the city. If you have enough time, go to Montserrat to see the monastery built in the mountain.

Italy
From Rome to Pisa  and Sicily, Italy must be on your travel list. The Italian charm has something about it that’s sure to keep you under its spell. The Coliseum, the Vatican, the leaning tower of Pisa and Taormina and Messine in Sicily are just a few of the many attractions to discover.

Greece
With thousandsof islands, many still inhabited, Greece is a beautiful destination to discover. Many ports of calls offer different faces of the country, all incredibly amazing. Athen is fascinating: the Acropolis, them any museums and restaurants; Delphes and Kalambaka have beautiful landscapes and the Meteors are breathtaking. Only six of the twenty monasteries are still standing and open to the public.

The Greek islands are like jewels on the Mediterranean. Iconic Santorini with its white and blue houses is a must.
