Discover Parc Petit Témis, Canada’s first interprovincial cycling network, a unique experience combining adventure and exploration. Built on a former railway right-of-way, Parc linéaire interprovincial Petit Témis is Canada’s first interprovincial cycling network. It links Rivière-du-Loup in Quebec to Edmundston in New Brunswick. Comprising 134 km of stone-dust trail, it features several rest stops and is entirely reserved for cyclists and pedestrians. This picturesque route takes you through breathtaking scenery, from lush forests to colorful fields.
Don’t miss a stop along the way to discover the Cycloroute de Bellechasse. This section of the network is renowned for its breathtaking panoramas and charming villages.

What does the difficulty level mean ?
1 : Easy, flat terrain, requires little effort, between 20 and 50 km
2 : Quite easy, flat terrain and slight inclination, requires some effort, between 50 and 70 km
3 : Intermediate, many hills, between 70 and 100 km
4 : Advanced intermediate, mountainous, requires much effort, between 80 and 120 km
5 : Advanced, major difference in height, constant effort, between 90 and 130 km

North Section (Rivière-du-Loup to Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac)
The North Section covers more than 70 km between Rivière-du-Loup and Cabano, along rivers and through a lively forest, and is dotted with several rest stops. Accessible via different starting points. Parking is free. The trail’s elevation can meet everyone’s needs. In the summer season, the north section is patrolled by rangers.

South Section (Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac to Edmundston)
The southern portion of 63 km follows the contours of Lake Témiscouata and the Madawaska River for most of the route, passing through the municipalities of Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac (Cabano and Notre-Dame-du-Lac areas), Dégelis (bike stop at the old station), St-Jacques, and Edmundston in New Brunswick. A particularly popular part of this section is between Cabano and Dégelis (28 km one way) as it constantly runs along Lake Témiscouata, offering breathtaking views of this vast body of water. You will also be able to cross the famous wooden bridges.
