Reservation/deposit
We recommend booking at least 45 days before the date of departure. A 25% deposit (excluding insurance) is required at time of reservation. Balance must be received at least 45 days before the date of departure. Gendron Travel reserves the right to cancel the reservation upon failure to comply with payment schedule. All reservations made 45 days or less before the date of departure require total payment at time of reservation. Reservations secured with payment by cheque will not be confirmed until funds have been deposited and cleared.
To avoid any gaz surcharges between the booking date and travel date, it is mandatory to pay the total amount of the flights at the time of booking. Also, you need to give a 25% deposit on the land portion for all booking made more than 45 days prior to departure. The final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. For ski packages to Chile, a 50% deposit is required for the land portion in addition to the total amount for the flights at time of booking.
Note: A deposit of 50% is applicable on every sale rate.
Changes to reservations
The following cost will be applied for all changes (type of room, hotel, automobile): 30 days and more before the date of departure, $25 per person; 29 days or less before the date of departure, 100% of the total cost of the package. All name or date changes will be considered as a cancellation (refer to Cancellation Charges).
GOLF : A $5 fee will be charged for all changes to reserved tee-times.
Credit card
The authorization providing us to use your credit card for a deposit and/or payment indicates that you accept our reservation conditions, whether you have signed the appropriate credit card form or not. Your verbal authorization concerning the utilization of your credit card confirms your reservation.
Unused services
No refund will be made for unused services or for services that may be cancelled after your departure or for those circumstances beyond the control of Gendron Travel.
Cancellation charges
45 days and more before departure: your total deposit. Less than 45 days before departure: total package costs, including taxes.
Responsibilities
Gendron Travel’s responsibility is to offer all services described in this brochure. If for some reason such services cannot be provided, Gendron Travel will make every effort to offer the client comparable services. The passenger renounces all liability against Gendron Travel for losses, thefts, accidents or damages. Gendron Travel cannot be held responsible for the closure of installations, strikes, bankruptcy, political crisis, terrorism, inclemency, quality of services provided by suppliers or suppliers overbooking, the omission of the traveler to obtain necessary documents for execution of the trip, flight delays or any other reason beyond its control that may prevent the normal occurrence of this trip.
Package Prices
Prices in this brochure are in Canadian dollars (unless otherwise indicated) and based on prices in effect at the time of printing. They are liable to change without notice.Gendron Travel reserves the right to increase these rates in the event of a fluctuation in the exchange rate. The price is guaranteed only upon reception of the complete and final payment. For real rates, please contact an agent.
Insurance protection
We recommend all our clients have adequate insurance protection such as medical insurance, comprehensive insurance (accident, sickness, property damage, baggage loss, damage or theft, cancellation, etc.), vehicle insurance. A variety of insurance packages are available upon request.
Complaints
All complaints must be reported in writing no later than two months after the return of your trip and sent via courier (our signature is required upon reception) in order for your request to be processed.
Your privacy
Your privacy is paramount to us at Gendron Travel. This is why, across our business, we will only collect, store and use your personal information for defined purposes, such as improving our relationship with you or better communicating information or promotions. We do not sell your personal information. We only share your personal data outside our company with partners who will protect your privacy or with your consent. We also use appropriate measures to protect the security of your personal data across our information systems.
